Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Stacey Jefferson Proctor always knew she was destined to become a Veterinarian. Even as child, she shared a special connection and passion for animals. Stacey attended Coastal Carolina University for her undergraduate degree and continued to St Georges University in Grenada WI where she obtained her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2008. After graduation, Dr. Proctor moved to Charleston, SC where she practiced locally for 7 years while quickly becoming chief of staff. In 2016, Stacey and her husband, Charles, decided to move back to his hometown to be closer to family and to allow Stacey to pursue her dream of personalized vet care services by starting a mobile practice. Charles and Stacey have two children; Charlie and Jo Jo and two rescue dogs; JD, a 7 year old Brindle Staffordshire Terrier and Brutus, a 5 year old Sharpei/Staffie mix. Stacey is thrilled to provide quality mobile pet care and is excited to become a part of the Coastal Carolina Community once more.
David Covington, a Conway local for 20 years with experience as a veterinary technician, has always had a passion for pets. He was known to talk his parents into letting him keep just about any pet he could catch as a child. This love for pets has not faded, he lives with his 3 dogs; belle, a 5 year old Border Collie mix; Dexter, a 7 year old Shih Tzu; and Luna, a 4 year old Staffordshire Terrier. He also has two cats at home; Mildred a 1 year old and Celo a 2 year old, both domestic medium hairs. David loves being able to help pets in the mobile environment because the pets and the pet parents are much more relaxed and it helps him get to know not only the parents better, but the pets as well.
